Job Responsibilities

• Ensure settlement of trades within agreed timelines with counterparties


• Ensure timely settlement of all wire transfers (inward or outward) related to investments and trade settlements.


• Ensure placement, rollover, and liquidation of funds are done in line with a trade agreement with counterparties


• Ensure posting of Coupons received on bonds and dividend received on equities


• Ensure monthly reconciliation of diversified portfolios and capital loans


• Assist, as assigned, in preparing audit schedules, compliance reports, financial statements or other reports.


• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements with internal customers and external counterparties.


• Responsible for the data integrity of all entries on the CBA, filing, and storage of all appropriate documentation.


• Attend to other Investment Operations Unit designated tasks.


• Stay abreast of regulatory reforms and their impact on the business; and helps to ensure the business is best positioned to respond

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years work experience in investment operations.


• BSc. from a reputable tertiary institution.


• Possession of a professional qualification (i.e. ACA/ACCA or other of similar equivalence).


• Good time management and organizational skills


• Must be self-driven and proactive


• Strong mathematical skills, analytical and critical thinking skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
