Vantegral Consulting is looking to engage with an experienced HDD Deputy Site Manager for one of her clients in the energy sector.

JOB SUMMARY

He is primarily responsible for HDD mobilization; site setup and completion of drilling variable sized underground holes and pulling back required product pipe and demobilization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Generation of HDD procedures, work plan and schedules


• HDD mobilization and demobilization activities


• Overseeing drilling operations,


• Supervising drillers, mechanics, technicians, engineers, foremen, riggers and other site workers.


• Participate (assist tender department) in the evaluation of potential HDD projects.


• Preparation of HDD project budget


• Manage daily drilling & bore path reports


• Articulates and manages site working imprest


• Articulates and managers working site consumables (raising requisitions for needed items promptly)


• Ensure and enforces safety on the job site.


• Keep a daily track record of all third-party work force and equipment on the site for payment purposes.


• Assist the manager in any other activities to bring success and growth to HDD projects and business.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of first degree in Engineering is required or related degree in science


• Professional qualifications (COREN) will be added advantage


• Minimum 8 years of cognate experience with 3 years supervisory experience in HDD operations.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all business and management levels.


• Ability to read and interpret technical project documents
