Job Description
You will be responsible for planning, securing, and executing partnerships with banks, telecommunication companies, and other FinTechs, taking our brand presence to the next level.
Role Deliverables:
- Work closely with our CEO to identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with current and potential partners and large enterprises - including Banks and FinTechs.
- Conduct market research to determine our target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors in identifying potential partnerships.
- Develop collaboration plans for key partners, and develop product adoption and customer success plans.
- Rigorously measure, report, and review success of partnerships in driving revenue
- Take overall responsibility for managing the strategic relationship (communications, expectations).
- Work with our partners and internal teams (customer support, marketing, product, and engineering) to get our partnerships off the ground.
- Understand the relative strength of competitors within strategic partners, if any.
What are we Looking for:
- 5+ years of business development experience, 3+ years of partnership experience in a bank or FinTech
- Strong connections to Banks, FinTechs, Telcos and other large enterprises across the continent
- Proven record of building successful partnership relationships that drive real results
- Passionate about technology and business strategy
- Clear communicator with an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to successfully and efficiently manage a wide variety of relationships
- History of driving revenue and managing projects in a high-growth, rapidly evolving organization
- Thoughtful and creative, with a strong do-it approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some familiarity with use cases of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
