Job Description:

You will support the drive for the sponsorship pipeline for the organization, while following through on targets set, by signing on new partners and sponsors to support the organization's activities.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Programme Execution and Management 


• Develop initiatives to recruit new sponsors.


• Identify granting agencies with the potential to fund the organization's initiatives and work.


• Draft sponsorship packages and grant applications for a variety of events and programs.


• Ensure that sponsorship packages and grant applications are complete, executed, and updated, when necessary, by required deadlines.


• Ensure that the organization fulfills all of its sponsorship agreements obligations by obtaining all required information from sponsors such as contact information, corporate logos, banners, and any other materials specified in the contract.


• Maintain a suitable database of all sponsorship activity such as progress timelines and contract values


• Ensure that the target set in terms of several partners and sponsors signed on is met


• Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in sales, marketing, partnership sponsorship, and business development or other related roles.


• Experience in fundraising and acquisition of grants and sponsors. 


• BSc. in a related field (or equivalent relevant job experience).


• Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders.


• The ability to be self-motivated and meet many critical deadlines efficiently.


• Previous work within a sponsorship or fundraising position.


• An understanding of the culture and goals of post-secondary student associations.
