BARIEL Medical Center (BMC) is a hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are urgently recruiting for a qualified MEDICAL DOCTOR for full time employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide medical care for routine and emergency cases


• Clerk both medical and pre- and post-operative surgical patients and maintain day to day care.


• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on outpatient, inpatient, and theatre patients.


• Assist surgeon on theatre patients and provide outpatient wound care.

• Assist surgeons during operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must possess BOTH a registration certificate with MDCN  and a current practising medical license.


• Possess an MBBS degree with 1 - 2 years post-NYSC in-hospital work experience.


• Only candidate residing (or relocating to) near the hospital premises to be considered.

Job Description

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice


• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians


• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients


• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts


• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide for treatments according to physician’s orders


• Provide instant medical care in emergencies


• Assist surgeons during operations


• Foster, a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years of experience


• The Candidate should be ready to resume immediately.

Salary

N70,000 - N80,000 monthly.
