BARIEL Medical Center (BMC) is a hospital newly established in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are urgently looking for a double-qualified NURSE/MIDWIFE (RN/RM) for full time employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide nursing care for routine and emergency cases


• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians


• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients


• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide for treatments according to physician’s orders


• Provide perinatal, medical and surgical day to day nursing care.


• Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation on medical, (outpatient and inpatient), maternity, and surgical patients.


• Assist surgeons during operations and provide nursing wound care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must be a DOUBLE-QUALIFIED nurse (i.e. RN-RM) and possess current practicing nursing licenses as BOTH a Registeredd Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) registered with Nursing Council of Nigeria.


• Possess a 1 - 2 years post-NYSC in-hospital work experience.


• Only candidate residing (or relocating to) near the hospital premises will be considered.

SALARY

N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
