Job Description

• We are looking for an accountable Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.


• You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.


• The Project Engineer oversees all aspects of an assigned project, including planning, budgeting, and logistics.


• They spend time at the job site ensuring work is completed efficiently with no errors or negative impacts on the timeline.

Expected Competence / Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in establishing project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within the parameters of corporate policy


• Knowledge of using computer-aided design and engineering software to create project plans and circuit diagrams, AutoCAD, Primavera,


• Ability to read and create design specifications and technical drawings, write reports and documentation, and analyze and interpret data.


• Knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of Mini Gas Generation plants, Power Transmission Lines/substations, and MV Distribution projects.


• Ability to conduct field supervision and project installation.


• Attentive to Details, Good Leadership Skill and, Resourceful.


• Develop and review complex electrical project calculations.


• Prepare documented design inputs.


• Review design inputs and review engineering drawings.


• Prepare and review equipment along with material parameters


• Prepare reports and study existing technical information clearly! Based on requirements.


• Participate in project electrical work plan development.


• Prepare BOQ and project executions.


• Guide project installation and commissioning on final load testing.


• Ability to supervise engineering projects/stand long hours on site.


• Certificate in project management is an additional advantage. And experienced in electrical project execution.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / OND / B.Eng / BSc / B.Tech qualification with 4 - 7 years work experience.
