Job Summary

• The Management of AfriHUB - GDLI invites applicants for the position of lecturer for its Certified Internet Webmaster and Python.


• The primary professional responsibilities of the ideal candidate are to provide outstanding lecturing, academic research, and supervisory roles to the institute’s academic department.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:

• Teaching/training experience


• Networking knowledge and experience


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience


• Ability to develop and update course materials


• Good organizational and time management skills


• Familiarity with different learning styles and techniques


• Patience and ability to work with students of different levels of understanding


• Technical writing skills for creating lab guides and other instructional materials.


• Counseling and advising students on academic needs


• Interviewing potential students for admission


• Providing academic support to students and colleagues


• Collaborating with other academics and colleagues to improve teaching methods and expand the knowledge base.


• Certifications in relevant areas of cyber security.


• Continuing education in cyber security trends and advancements.

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc, MSc, or Industrial Certification.


• Expertise and mastery of the academic discipline.


• 3 years experience with an academic program.

Required:

• Academic qualification, BSc, MSc, or equivalent


• 3 years experience with academic lecturing and supervision


• Computer skills


• Academic publications


• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Nodejs, Reactjs, and related technologies.


• Knowledge of popular Python frameworks and libraries (e.g. Django, Flask, NumPy, Pandas).
