Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Executes current and long-term objectives, plans and policies, approved by the board of directors.
- Advises, guides, directs, and oversees major plans and MRO facilities procedures, consistent with established international standards and board approval
- Manages technical partnership with OEMs; including knowledge transfer and local competence development
- Manages operational performance of MRO facilities against agreed objectives and KPIs
- Establishes, facilitates, and maintains an effective system of communication between key stakeholders: anchor client, transporters, sponsors, and board
- Represents the MRO facilities with major customers, shareholders, the financial community, and the public.
- Performs any other duties as assigned on approval of the board.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Eng.) from four-year college or university
- 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight of which must have been in management positions in a technical role
- Experience with analysis and interpretation of documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Strong commercial understanding -impact and credibility within all levels of the business and ability to deliver
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
