Job Description
General Function & Key Objectives
- Ensure to meet business goals in terms of Industrial Equipment & Spare-parts sales.
- Meet sales target, Achieve sales growth, market share improvement, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Sales:
- Develop sales in assigned geographical territory through direct sales visits
- Strictly follow & implement a guided sales strategy to achieve the growth and sales targets.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of the accounts and attention to their needs.
- To interact actively with customers to become their consultant in industrial equipment solutions.
- To follow-up existing customer showing high degree of commitment and professionalism.
- To set and maintain coherent an clear sales activity agenda.
- To undertake proposals, including the calculation of sales price to achieve sales.
- Reporting: Daily reporting using sales tools
- To maintain regular contact with all customers.
- To assist in collecting marketing information like installation data base
Service Coordination:
- Ensure adequate customer product support, by working closely with the Service Manager
- Work closely with Service team & use synergy between other departments
Communication:
- Communicate market activities to the Manager.
- Communicate service and product support issues with the service manager and Customer Care representative.
- Prepare information for sales meetings
- Prepare daily, weekly sales activity reports, including next week activities and an update on sales prospects & debtors status.
- Liaise with other departments like finance, logistics
Education and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering - Especially Electrical.
- 1 - 3 years work experience.
- Sales experience in similar filed (Technical Sales/ Industrial Equipment Sales).
- Preferably experience in sales of spares parts and equipments like Compressors, Pumps, Fork-lift, Chemicals etc.
