Further development of the CBM portfolio in inclusive education within Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID)
Contribute to and review concept notes, programme and donor proposals related to inclusive education.
Provide technical assistance to support inclusive education programmes
Give input or lead on, assessments, planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Drive relevant innovation and develop model programmes in collaboration with partners and other levant stakeholders.
Develop and contribute to standards, policies, guidelines, and tools as part of a community of practice, as required.
Contribute to the development of and advocacy towards inclusive education in international development and represent CBM in relevant international associations/networks.
Advise and support internal stakeholders such as CBM Regional and Country offices, technical and regional advisors, partners and relevant experts through sectoral expertise in inclusive education.
Support capacity development in inclusive education within CBM and its partner network
Qualifications
Minimum of master’s degree or equivalent in education, educational psychology, education management, international development, disability studies or other relevant fields in the context of inclusive education
Background and min. 10 years of working experience in Inclusive Education, partly in the context of international cooperation.
Experience in Disability-Inclusive Development
Experience in advocacy and networking with governments and key stakeholders
Experience in designing trainings
Knowledge and understanding of key players and stakeholders in Inclusive Education at global, regional and national level
Experience and understanding of intercultural contexts and working with intercultural teams
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (including virtually as well as face to face work contexts)
Ability to produce or contribute to communication materials for different audiences (practitioners, experts, general audience including donors)
Experience in developing strategic plans, policies, or curricula (advantageous)
Identification with Christian values and the mandate of the CBM
