Our client is looking to hire a female Audit Senior who will be responsible for managing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the company’s operations.

The role is a remote-type role and requires the employee to work from home. The work will require a lot of computer time, therefore, interested candidates are expected to have personal computers, unlimited internet access, and an unlimited source of power supply (e.g. generator). Remuneration will include an allocation for petrol (for the generator) and internet services. 

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related disciplines.


• Professional accounting qualification ICAN/ACCA.


• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, IPSAS Auditing standards, CAMA, and other local/ International laws as may apply.


• 5+ years’ of progressive audit management experience


• A hands-on, operationally oriented, and value-added approach to audit operations


• Strong leadership and project management skills


• Advanced knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Keeps apprised of new or amendments to legislation and regulatory requirements.


• Knowledgeable of technical trends in the industry


• Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal


•  Ability to manage multiple engagements and constantly meet deadlines


• Knowledge of risk and process management


• Must have integrity within a professional environment
