Job Description



  • We are looking to hire a Human Resource Manager (HRM) who shall be responsible for preparing and implementing policies for the companies’ staff.

  • They shall supervise the HRM of the companies and ensure that the companies have a uniform HR structure. They shall identify recruitment needs and design effective selection and retention programmes.

  • They are to lead the process of candidate selection; interview; job offer; background check, onboarding and integration/induction of new employees.

  • The HRM responsibilities shall include salary and benefits management, employee relations, talent management and retention, performance management, change management, skills and professional development, as well as the design and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.


The HRM will be expected to:



  • Create a workable HR structure for 2-3 of the group companies;

  • Design policies and procedures that align with industry and international standards;

  • Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures with an optimum level of professionalism;

  • Ensure the proper management/upscaling of group companies’ employees;

  • Coordinate talent management and organizational development;

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding exercises of all the group companies;

  • Effectively ensure periodic learning and development for all employees;

  • Advice management on industry standards on Employee Compensation, Pension, Employee Cooperatives and other employee welfare/benefits;

  • Prepare a unique Office Management Structure for all the group companies;

  • Prepare a scheme for the regular team and individual review/appraisal (360 appraisals) of all the employees of the group companies;

  • Oversee and manage the Probationary Periods of new employees;

  • Coordinate and supervise the periodic update and storage of employees’ data.


Qualifications




  • A professional qualification in HR (Degree and Master's in HRM will be an added advantage)




Skills:



  • Be computer literate and tech-savvy ( Has a good use of google drive, google docs, excel sheet, google meet etc);

  • Trained in email correspondence and management;

  • Has an excellent use of the English language;

  • Understands internationally accepted formal dress codes;

  • Leadership skills;

  • Team player;

  • Highly innovative;

  • Has a high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and understands the nuances of official relationships;

  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
