Job Description
OIS is seeking to appoint an exceptional Vice Principal for either Term 3 (April) 2023 or Term 1 (September) of the 2023- 2024 Academic School Year.
Applications are invited from experienced Senior Leaders who are passionate about working with children, their families and the wider staff.
- They will have good knowledge of both the Nigerian (NECO, WAEC, and BECE) and Cambridge International curriculum and be willing to work within a programme which takes into account our Nigerian context.
- They should be a highly resourceful, forward-thinking professional and with excellent inter-personal skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have had experience of leading a school through an accreditation process.
- They will possess strong organisational skills and be able to communicate sensitively and effectively.
- The position will involve a small teaching load, and contributing to the school’s extra-curricular programme is expected.
Requirements
The successful applicant will lead a team with the energy, expertise and creativity to bring out the best in the students and each other.
- Applicants must have at least 10+ years of teaching experience in or at a recognised international school within Nigeria.
- All applicants must also hold a bachelor’s degree, and/or a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE, DipTch), desirable is a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Management.
