Duties & Responsibilities
- Seeking out funding and investment for the business
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
- Developing concept notes, proposals for new business opportunities
- Initiating new partnerships and possible business acquisitions
- Negotiating business terms with new and existing client
- Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, including clients, partners or vendors
- Analyzing, evaluating & managing business risk - Working with senior team members to manage risks
Preparing product pitches and making presentations to prospective clients and investors
- Pitching products and services to new customers and offering new services to existing customers
- Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
- Implementing strategies to minimize operating costs and increase profits
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Setting sales goals and supporting team to meets them
- Becoming a subject matter expert on the company’s business products, processes and operations and remaining up-to-date on industry news
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Attending conferences and events on behalf of the business
