Our ideal candidate is a creative and dedicated individual with an in-depth understanding of Google analytics and SEO principles. The core responsibilities are:



  • Develop content goals and strategies and pitch ideas to the Marketing and Communications Directors.

  • Collaborate with other departments and team members and brainstorm subjects for creative content.

  • Create unique and user-friendly content using good SEO techniques.

  • Create content strategies for the organization's marketing campaigns.

  • Manage editorial processes to optimize production for quality, predictability, time, and cost

  • Communicate new content ideas and ensure they align and produce the needed support materials

  • Create daily new web content

  • Publish and promote content on numerous social media outlets

  • Analyse the performance of content such as unique page views, conversion rates, and the average time on page

  • Update content to reflect current SEO trends

  • Repair any broken links and fix any reported bugs

  • Create and modify the appearance and setting of the site.

  • Lay out content on web pages.

  • Schedule and manage automated email marketing


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or a related field.

  • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML and SEO.

  • Certification and expertise in Google Analytics

  • Strong working knowledge of content management software, including Asana, WordPress and Flash.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop is an added advantage

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
