Our ideal candidate is a creative and dedicated individual with an in-depth understanding of Google analytics and SEO principles. The core responsibilities are:
- Develop content goals and strategies and pitch ideas to the Marketing and Communications Directors.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members and brainstorm subjects for creative content.
- Create unique and user-friendly content using good SEO techniques.
- Create content strategies for the organization's marketing campaigns.
- Manage editorial processes to optimize production for quality, predictability, time, and cost
- Communicate new content ideas and ensure they align and produce the needed support materials
- Create daily new web content
- Publish and promote content on numerous social media outlets
- Analyse the performance of content such as unique page views, conversion rates, and the average time on page
- Update content to reflect current SEO trends
- Repair any broken links and fix any reported bugs
- Create and modify the appearance and setting of the site.
- Lay out content on web pages.
- Schedule and manage automated email marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or a related field.
- Proficiency in WordPress, HTML and SEO.
- Certification and expertise in Google Analytics
- Strong working knowledge of content management software, including Asana, WordPress and Flash.
- Knowledge of Photoshop is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
