Job Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications.
- Produce different kinds of icing, whipped cream, buttercream and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences.
- Ability to work with Fondant
- Ability to write beautifully on Cakes.
- Take inventory of decorating supplies and inform the procurement team for replenishment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations by maintaining product freshness
- Clean and sanitize all work areas
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in cake decorating
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years work experience.
- Exhibits prowess using decorating tools such as airbrush guns, modelling tools, and electronic mixers.
- Is courteous, friendly, and pleasant.
- Is able to follow and perform set decorating designs
- Demonstrates artistic ability.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Demonstrates above average manual dexterity; has a steady hand.
