About the Job



  • As a Piling Manager at our company, you will be responsible for Overseeing, Planning and managing the technical installation and supervision of all pilling work of the foundation of our 30-storey residential construction.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead a team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget

  • Organize, direct, coordinate, and motivate project team members.

  • Able to do overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet targets

  • Establish the work breakdown structure and budget in accordance with estimates for cost control.

  • To be continually alert to means and methods by which operations of the project team can be improved where appropriate

  • Establish (within the financial authority limits) and administer all site subcontractors to ensure the execution and quality of their obligation.

  • Report to the Project Director the status of the Project, especially regarding cost and progress

  • Maintain manpower management, safety policies and procedures and the environmental-related issue of piling work.

  • Ensure compliance with the stated quality requirement of the piling project.

  • Keeps records or information regarding variation order and extension of time.

  • Liaise with Construction Department to produce the monthly progress report of the Piling project.

  • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the top management and PD.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

  • At least 10 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Speed and effective time management system

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Fast, Accurate and precise attention to detail

  • Able and fast to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

  • Ready to relocate to Nigeria if you are abroad?
