Job Summary / Description



  • We urgently require the services of an innovative and experienced Project Officer to work with our team on full-time basis in Oyo.

  • In this position, the ideal project officer is expected to supervise program development, track progress and proposals, seek grants and other funding initiatives, manage projects, and oversee budgets.

  • Expected to guarantee that the institute's activities and programs are met with the vision and mission statements of that institute.

  • It is the program officer's responsibility to complete various tasks in completing the demands of this position. Their role also includes developing staff, implementation, and daily management of activities.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Identify and contact potential grantees for funding.

  • Represent institute brand in industry conferences, meetings and workshops etc.

  • Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding and activity reports.

  • Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with members, program partners and other stakeholders.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges.

  • Develop best practices to improve overall program performance

  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for programs. Identify and contact new program partners for programs expansion.

  • Plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner.

  • Conduct program reviews and prepare reports for management.

  • Prepare meeting agenda, organize meetings, webinars, prepare reports and distribute minutes.

  • Schedule events and initiate new programs for members

  • Devising regular communication activities

  • Build strong relationships between members and the institute.

  • Collecting data, tracking membership statistics, and preparing reports

  • Organizing events and activities for existing and prospective members.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science or other related disciplines.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and editing skills.

  • Minimum of Three (3) years of experience.

  • Previous experience in membership programs & management.

  • Computer skills.

  • Social Media skills.

  • Proficiency / Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
