Job Description
The Head of HR responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. This will also involve designing compensation, learning and development, performance management for the organization. You easily connect with people and have a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce and business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
- Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
- Develop, maintain and enhance compensation and benefits plans, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, and other personnel packages
- Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
- Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers
- Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
- Organize learning and development programs
- Ensure HR team addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner
- Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations
- Oversee performance management within the organization; design KPI for every role while guiding hiring managers to develop JDs for their downlines
- Advice on manpower planning for achieving maximum growth.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to management.
Requirements:
- First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in HR or industrial relations.
- Postgraduate/Professional qualification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
