Job Description



Responsible for:         


The strategic and operational business development which spans around working closely with other company executives and management teams, meeting with potential business partners and maintaining existing client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Full BD Activity



  • Work effectively with relevant teams in the company to contribute to the provision of new thinking on how to address the issues and challenges arising from Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Leverage on the knowledge of Oil and Gas industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value proposition.

  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Undertake fundamental research and actively share insight with teams, members and key stakeholders.

  • Support the development of project and business proposal

  • Any other related duties as may be assigned


Tendering Management:



  • Carry out Bids and Tenders packaging, submit through appropriate channels and ensure terms and conditions of contracts signed are met.

  • Access Nipex portal daily to ensure codes are live, check for new opportunities and updates, assist with proposals, contracts administration, legal requirements and specification’s review

  • Responsible for overall documents control processes and ensure strictly compliance with ISO requirements in all designed tasks.

  • Review provisions of contracts and amendments with vendors, contractors and subcontractors within company’s guidelines and the scope of assigned responsibility.

  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements while developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective.

  • Tracking all DPR permits to ensure all permits are renewed and presentation of identified opportunities on the portal

  • Carry out research on industry trends and its implications on company’s activities in order to guide management on best decision

  • Carry out renewal of statutory documents.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Control and manage Sellafield and Field Marine Page on LinkedIn, ensuring that both pages are always active with relevant posts and interrogative articles and ensure continuous growth of followers on Sellafield and Field Marine page.

  • Build on and maintain existing relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners.

  • Provide list of potential partners for bid ands and tendering

  • Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.

  • Make connections on LinkedIn with personnel of potential partners to establish line of communication.


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in selling complex business solutions in an Oil and Gas business environment.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Oil and Gas business environments, issues and current trends.

  • Qualified applicants must demonstrate a consistent ability to exceed sales targets

  • Full knowledge of the NIPEX portal and documents control.

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives within middle market companies

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to stay abreast of industry trends across multiple business sectors

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive sales culture

  • High level of personal and professional integrity
