Required



  • Work with MD & Farm Manager to plan and implement production, and to

  • Maintain farm progress against budget parameters.

  • Maintenance of farm building, machinery and equipment

  • Keeping records of inputs, equipment availability, usage and all farm activities.

  • Following up on execution of GAP practices, IPM (Intergrated Pest

  • Management), keeping planting records, livestock records, harvest records etc

  • Preparing budgets and keeping farm accounting records.

  • Following up, monitoring and keeping records of contract farmers.

  • Liaising with other farm suppliers, inspecting their farms and products and organizing delivery to packhouse.

  • Utilizing software extensively to complete all tasks

  • Making sure products are ready for deadlines, such as daily sales delivery, exhibitions and markets.

  • Ensuring current government regulations and that of quality certification bodies concerning farm activities are complied with.

  • Participate fully in all training and implement outcomes immediately.

  • Other duties that may be assigned by Management


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, or equivalent.

  • Additional courses in business management or administration are recommended.

  • Extensive experience in a farming-related field.

  • Management experience would be a plus.

  • A passion for agriculture.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
