Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
Manage a team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
Ensure compliance with the law and company policies.
Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures
Manage fundraising plans and capital structure
Determine finance KPIs
Track and ensure cash flow is appropriate and sustainable.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
Experience with corporate governance.
