General Description:
The Quality/ Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the company complies with ISO standards and internal policies. He is also responsible for the documentation, Performance, and execution of the audits which include and are not restricted to risk, quality, and control management, identifying loopholes, and proffering solutions. The person will be expected to travel from time to time.
Reports to: Service Delivery Manager
Responsibilities:
- Ensure company compliance with ISO standards and internal company policies are adhered to.
- Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards Conduct periodic audits for the division ensuring service standards are adhered to.
- Conduct quality gap analyses and monthly/ quarterly audits for the sites.
- Ensuring Preventative Maintenance and field modifications have been adhered.
- Ensuring equipment meets the standard and operations are at max
- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining site service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
- Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom passive equipment
- Ensure all Troubleshooting and repairing of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), are rectified
- Ensure back batteries and RMS are managed and maintained for better site performance,
- Timely resolution of site issues to prevent operational lags
- Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
- Oversee and coordinate performance and routine activities of electrical field engineering personnel
- Support and ensure the quality checks on all DAZ sites/project delivery at sites
- Compliances to procedures and any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of BSc or equivalent in Engineering with 5 years’ experience in Telecom, Quality assurance and Compliance.
- Minimum Previous Experience:
- 5 Years’ Experience
Minimum Additional Training:
- Computer proficiency
- Good knowledge of ICT
- Knowledge of ISO standards and procedures
Other Skills:
- Quality assurance skills in the telecom industry.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and responding to operational concerns.
- Proven record of being reliable and resourceful with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication
