Job Description: 


As a project manager, your responsibilities include:




  • Managing an internet platform that provides financial support to firms in low-income communities and overseeing a research project that assesses the impact of systematic recording on small firms in Lagos.




  • Leading monthly outreach and training sessions for small firms in the Lagos market




  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with both domestic and overseas project partners.




  • Guiding the conduct of preliminary qualitative studies, planning, and developing project ideas




  • Recruiting and managing participants and beneficiaries for the projects




  • Leading the development of a short program designed to impact small businesses




  • Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction with all project mandates




  • Evaluating project performance and overseeing all project-related activities and managing the team




  • Recruiting and coordinating with a social media manager/company to establish a communication strategy and create media content




  • Collaborating with all project teams to achieve the organization's project goals




  • Managing all project activities and executing any additional tasks assigned by the principal investigator.




Requirement: 




  • Exhibits exemplary leadership qualities, including a modest and collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn.




  • Possesses experience in organizing and overseeing projects and teams excellently, utilizing office tools such as Dropbox and Google Docs.




  • A good academic degree (ideally a 2.1 or higher) from a well-respected university, particularly in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or Arts, is required. Candidates may be asked to take an aptitude test. Those with a Master's degree are encouraged to apply.




  • Adept at communicating and presenting effectively.




  • Has prior experience working in underprivileged communities within Lagos.




  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to instruct and improve the skills of others.




  • Remote work is not possible for this position.
