Our ideal candidate for this role must be a skilled, resourceful and experienced project manager, a strong and confident communicator and a proactive individual with a willingness to working in a fast-paced environment, good in identify and mitigate risks, and also good in planning and overseeing projects delivering project on time within budget and with desired outcome aligned to objectives.


What you will do



  • Manage and track project activities and ensure they are completed within target dates, ensure project documents are clear and concise, manage to the project plan and ensure all project stakeholders adhere to project expectations.

  • Manage concurrent projects while developing timelines with key milestones, delivery and proper cataloging of assets.

  • Tracks project statuses and manages project issues and risks, to include evaluation of progress/quality from both an "on-time" and "on-budget" perspective, while developing action plans to address gaps/risks throughout project life cycle to ensure delivery.

  • Drive the implementation of an Agile delivery model, including providing training and support to the wider team.

  • Coordinate daily creative Scrums with all necessary stakeholders, consolidating feedback & ensuring the team knows next steps and assign action items.

  • Implement ways to streamline workflow and optimize process to identify best practices.

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the company including Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Work with leadership to develop operations for scale that work for optimizing both volume and creative output in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Refine internal processes between departments and develop new systems where appropriate.

  • Ensure teams are tracking toward milestones, within budget and upholding brand integrity in their decisions.

  • Contribute to solutions options and supports business partner decision-making to minimize the amount of project investment divergence from target outcomes.

  • Implement a good communications strategy within the project to ensure that all stakeholders are regularly briefed.

  • Determine resource allocation and prioritization.

  • Deliver projects to agreed success criteria and manage change effectively.

  • Oversee teams working on client engagements and manage internal resources.

  • Produce high-quality project documents.

  • Convert high-level ideas into projects ensuring full project documentation.

  • Provide mentoring and support to trainee project managers to facilitate their development.


Requirements



  • Minimum of first degree in related field. Post-Graduate degree and certifications in Project Management is an added advantage.

  • 5-7 years working experience as a Project Manager, with end-to-end responsibility for delivery in the FinTech Industry.

  • Proven track record of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions.

  • Thorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective action.

  • Experience working with formal Project Methodologies.

  • Strong project scoping and integration skills with direct experience in the design and implementation of major technical projects.

  • Ability to engage, influence and motivate a variety of stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Ability to manage the transition and transformation of business process reengineering through the Agile project lifecycle management.

  • Resiliency to adopt and work in a fast paced – startup environment.

  • Experience in data analytics projects is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, team player and collaborator.

  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects at one time of varying size, complexity, value and urgency.

  • Must be tenacious and self-motivated with the ability to encourage others and drive issues to a resolution.

  • Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Demonstrable time management skills.

  • A working knowledge and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated experience setting up/optimizing processes aimed at improving workflow.
