- The Head of Telesales is responsible for managing the telesales team within uLesson.
- His/her job is to train team members, set sales targets, implement sales strategies, monitor performance, and handle customer complaints.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing Telesales team.
- Develop a Telesales Playbook that provides the foundation to expand the pipeline and drive repeatable revenue growth as the team and function scale.
- Manage the CRM system to optimize data and leads.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly telesales metrics to report to company leadership.
- Participate in overall sales strategy development and lead execution to meet sales targets.
- Monitor and review phone calls of the telesales team to ensure quality service and compliance with applicable policies and best practices.
- Create a KPI-driven environment; coach team members to succeed, share best practices, and introduce new incentives to motivate them.
- Maintain customer relationships and fine-tune processes for escalating customer complaints.
- Write conversion-optimized sales scripts, and develop and implement training material and new technology to support the development of the Telesales team at all levels.
- Drive demand, acquisitions, retention, and expansion revenue programs that meet local needs and align with best practices.
- Work closely with other teams within the company to ensure brand consistency across all communications channels and increase sales.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a telesales manager, managing world-class Telesales teams who can deliver ambitious revenue targets via efficiency and processes at scale.
- Strong organizational and sales skills.
- Ability to multitask, think strategically, analytically, and creatively to break down problems and find effective solutions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills – the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members at all levels.
- Skilled in measurement, reporting, and analysis of performance data that leads to repeatable success.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
