Key Function
Your role is to develop pricing strategies by performing cost analysis. Key Responsibility as a pricing officer is to prepare a quotation and generate Sales Order for the client
- Prepare quotations and generate sales orders for clients.
- Analyse and evaluate pricing components to ascertain margins
- Strategise with the sales, procurement, and supply chain department team to ascertain pricing structure for clients
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve revenue
- Evaluating cost price, freight, weight, and lead time to develop pricing for a quote.
- Track and ensure that RPM wins at least 85% of quotations that they send to clients
- Deep understanding of the impact of pricing on profit margins.
- Carry out due diligence on quotations before sending them out to the client.
- Participate in bidding to win orders
- Tracking and analyzing KPIs across all aspects of pricing
- Providing feedback/escalating systemic concerns to procurement and/or operations regarding approaches that are cost-inefficient or detrimental to profits
- Ensures the business is profitable
Requirements
- BSC in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or any other related science discipline
- Between 3-6 years work experience (Post NYSC)
- Excellent Numerical Skills
- Science background
- High Attention to detail
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to work without supervision
