Responsibilities



  • Work with the Managing Director to define short, medium, and long-term direction of the business with clearly articulated operational plans

  • Drive operational efficiency through the right use of human and material resources to achieve designated goals and objectives

  • Optimize existing processes and procedures. develop compliance programs by reviewing company policies and advising management on possible risks.

  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.

  • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service through effective risk management

  • Manage Wholesale and Trade Partners to efficiently drive operations

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols

  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity

  • Perform quality controls and monitor inventory and production KPIs

  • Ensure operational activities are executed in a timely manner and within a defined budget

  • Manage budgets and forecasts

  • Manage information flow through adherence to workflow systems and information.

  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.

  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.

  • Ensure all employees are educated and updated on the latest regulations, policies, and processes.

  • Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.

  • Streamline the components of various office systems by eliminating unnecessary tasks (and the costs associated with the performance of those tasks)

  • Identify the tasks and decisions for new processes and develop flow charts using the appropriate symbols.

  • Drives compliance with Company policies and external regulations


Key Skills and Competencies



  • Minimum of 5 years plus work experience as an Operations Manager

  • Minimum of a first degree in a Business-related Discipline

  • Relevant training; professional programs

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

  • Proficient understanding of the company’s processes, policies, and procedures

  • Excellent knowledge of the business process and control analysis

  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes

  • Excellent report writing skill

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Good leadership and team-building skills

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills – written and spoken
