Job Description
The Communications Officer will support APVA's external communications strategy, develop and distribute digital content, engage our growing social media platforms and audience and play a key role in advancing our mission across Africa.
The ideal candidate would be creating content specific to the audio creative space
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
- Write, edit, upload, and distribute digital content, including fliers, articles, newsletters, annual reports, interviews, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities.
- Develop visual content for all digital platforms (website, email, social media, etc) ensuring consistency with the organization’s brand and standards.
- Implement strategies to build on existing social media engagement through online events and digital campaigns.
- Produce monthly and quarterly social media calendars, analytics, and reports detailing the status of communications campaigns.
- Manage digital communications using productivity software, media & content management apps such as Canva, HootSuite, WordPress, MailChimp, Google WorkSpace, YouTube, etc.
- Podcast Hosting and Management experience
