Duties / Responsibilities
- Van Sales Representative (VSR) will drive the Van and sell Company's products at company recommended prices, ensuring all sales are done strictly on CASH basis only.
- Achieve the monthly sales target (Volume/ value) as set by the company. Understand the geography of his/her assigned area of coverage and ensure the total area is well covered. Follow the daily/weekly routing plan as advised by the supervisor.
- Follow the rule of 100% numeric distribution, with coverage of all retail outlets including large and small shops, groceries, pharmacies, neighborhood shops, kiosks and Mallam shops.
- Communicate clearly all product deals and offers to buying outlets and ensure sales is across all the entire product range as opposed to selling only fast-moving lines/products.
- VIL Ensure collection of cash immediately on exchange of product and issuance of official company invoice and receipt.
- Ensure official van is kept clean and used only for official purpose with regular maintenance scheduled at the company workshop.
- Should use SFA (Sales force automation) Hand held device as suggested by the company for all sales transactions and calls, ensuring full visibility with proper/ daily stock & cash reconciliation at end of each day.
- Weekly/monthly reports to be submitted as and when dae as advised by the supervisor.
Requirements
- OND, HND / B.Sc in Humanities.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in FMCG Sales in Lagos.
- Must have good working knowledge of Lagos LGAS/Road networks.
- Possess valid driving license and van driving skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, and Experience of working with SFA will be a plus.
