Job Description



  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

  • Carry out warranty services and emerging repairs.

  • Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines.

  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce down time.

  • Maintain all cooling systems to reduce down time.

  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with occupational health and safety.

  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and safety requirements.

  • Perform regular work on cooling units.

  • Install, maintain and repair indoor air cooling units.

  • Act promptly on work orders that relate to your area of work and file them.

  • Report all faults verbally and in writing to your supervisor.

  • Test systems for proper functioning and performing emergency repairs.

  • Record data when inspecting systems, such as temperature of equipment, fuel consumption and hours of operation.

  • Setting up canopies for events when the need arises.

  • Minor repairs on water systems (Bathroom showers, Taps, Toilet etc.)

  • General walk around routine check-list especially on cooling systems etc.


Requirements



  • Technical College / OND (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) / Trade Test I, II & III.

  • Minimum five (5) years experience as an Air Conditioning Technician.

  • Highly skilled, energetic and familiar with best practices.

  • Good hands-on practical experience in installation, operation, and maintenance.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and with minimal supervision.
