Responsibilities:

• Overseeing end-to-end procurement process.


• Ensuring company best practices and health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.


• Supporting and guiding the procurement, logistics and expediting team.


• Ensure deadlines and targets are adhered to.


• Regular reporting.


• Cost saving initiatives.


• Supplier and service provider relationships management.


• Mentoring and training of subordinates.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or similar.


• 10 years previous experience in procurement of high-value equipment and services for mining projects, with at least 5 years at Supervisory level.


• Well-versed in mining supply base and processes.


• ERP systems experience.


• Computer literate in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics.


• Experience leading and training multi-cultural, diverse teams.


• Previous expatriate experience in West Africa preferred.
