Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Sales Manager, you will work with the Head of Sales to generate revenue for the organization. You will also ensure that sales executives/officers are productive and demonstrate high sales performance to meet customer acquisition and revenue targets.
Job Objectives:
- Hit individual sales targets
- Generate ‘sales qualified leads’ consistently
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
- Report weekly sales activities/leads to the Head of Sales and regularly update the company’s Sales CRM tool
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with the Head of Sales to devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets
- Manage and coach the sales executives for maximum productivity
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
- Lead the sales team to achieve individual targets and departmental goals
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Training of new sales executives/officers
- Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales executives/officers
- Responsible for not only selling but also ensuring a smooth handover of concluded deals to the Customer Success Team
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working with B2B including extensive experience in Business development, revenue generation, growth, and the Nigerian market
- B2B sales experience in the SaaS industry will be an added advantage
- Proven experience in consistently meeting or exceeding targets in previous employment
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and sales expertise
- Good Knowledge of HubSpot and Microsoft office tools

- Vast sales experience in South West and Northern regions of Nigeria is greatly desired
