Job Description
The preferred candidate must be technically oriented with verse exposure within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate a product’s cost-effectiveness or profitability.
- Develop project plans for the duration of the project.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labour-expense factors.
- Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents relevant to the preparation of cost estimates for projects.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, clients, and all relevant stakeholders on the development and review of estimates.
- Recommend improvement strategies for enhanced profitability & cost-effectiveness of the Company's products & services.
- Work with the Sales Teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 - 10 years of cognate experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Relevant project management experience is desired.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with the use of relevant software & Microsoft Office tools.
