Job Description
The preferred candidate would be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. He/she is expected to maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its mid-range plans, culture, and competition, while also ensuring all HR procedures and administrative responsibilities run smoothly. The ideal candidates must be residents in Abuja, preferably around the Idu axis of FCT, or be willing to relocate immediately at his or her own cost.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the human resource planning endeavour
- Manage employee remuneration, compensation and benefit
- Implement and sustain an optimised performance management system
- Manage the end-to-end process of the Company’s recruitment function
- Coordinate the organisation’s learning and development function
- Coordinate employee relations, welfare & policy development and implementation
- Promote the implementation of the Company’s culture among staff and relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, The Social Sciences or an allied discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience as an HR Manager or Coordinator.
- PHR, SPHR, CIPD, CIPM, or other relevant HR certification(s) and membership(s) is compulsory.
- Thorough knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
- Demonstrated ability with training and development programs.
- Expert in developing succession plans.
- Adept at performance management and investigations.
- Proficiency with employee relations and EEO.
- Skilled in employee benefits administration.
- Outstanding planning and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects.
