Accountant responsibilities shall include:

• Filing and maintaining goods records in account department for easy retrieval.


• Raising invoice and waybills to our internal department and external customers.


• Receipting promptly all receipts.


• Petty cash management, disbursement and reporting.


• Raising payments vouchers.


• Stock management, Stock taking, track processing activities, analyze stock movement and reporting.


• Posting of petty cash and cheque payments into SAGE accounting system.


• Bank reconciliation.


• Bookkeeping to ensure sales, purchases, expenses and any other records are up to date in Sage system.


• Analyze , auditing and reporting marketing activities of each sale representative from sales, receipt, returns inwards and stock count in different branches as well in the Head office.


• Preparing the monthly management accounts.


• Cost analyzing to ensure company is operating within recommended margins.


• Procurement and review of quotation as delegated from time to time.


• Tax management and filing.


• Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly budgeting.


• Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow.


• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.


• Conducting internal audits such as system compliance and project spending.
