Lonadek Global Services is currently seeking to hire experienced Data Analyst/Research & Development Coordinator with extensive industry experience within the Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil and Gas sectors, who will ensure the company’s competitiveness in the market by turning data into information, information into insights and insights into business decisions that will generate top business leads, developing new services/products and improving existing ones. The preferred candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years industry experience in Data Analysis and Research & Development inclined roles.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of research projects across multiple sites.


• Develop interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, and inter-sectoral research collaborations.


• Operationalise and manage specific R & D associated projects from initiation to closeout stage.


• Troubleshoot problems at all stages of project development and implementation and assist with modifying protocols or project procedures to address challenges.


• Coordinate and manage the collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of data.


• Execute all quantitative and qualitative data analysis endeavours for the Company.


• Oversee the design of databases, data collection forms, error-checking methods, and related programs for collection, analysis, and reporting.


• Apply specialized knowledge and scientific principles to review, critically appraise and interpret published literature.


• Develop and prepare proposals, journals, scientific papers and other editorials.


• Leverage the use of statistical software to analyze relevant data and interpret results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Data Analysis and Research & Development


• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or any related discipline.


• An advanced Degree in a relevant discipline would be an added advantage.


• Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, R, MATLAB, and Python.


• Strong knowledge of and experience with spreadsheets, reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI), databases (e.g., SQL), XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks
