Description

• At Sura shopping complex, we are seeking an experienced Accountant to perform financial functions related to collection, accuracy, recording, analysis and presentation of the compex's financial operations.

Responsibilities and Roles

• Managing the financial bookkeeping of the organisation.


• Maintaining an Asset schedule of the organisation.


• Processing invoices, recording payments and tracking expenses of the organisation.


• Cross checking each expense with the corresponding invoice, to ensure that the billing is accurate.


• Ensure updated payments of service charge on the ERP.


• Resolving billing disputes, creating and monitoring internal auditing procedures.


• Reconciliation of accounts.


• Managing procurement and transactions with association's vendor.


• Filing of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, WHT) to the appropriate agencies.


• Liasing with external Auditors and government authorities. Etc.

Qualification and Experience

• B.Sc / BA in Accounting or relevant field; M.Sc / MA is a plus and any other professional qualification.


• Must have 1-2 years of working experience.


• Must be experienced in Accounting software (SAGE is preferred), Microsoft applications etc.


• The candidate must have Strong analytical ability, Excellent Communication skills, Outstanding organizational and Leadership skills.
