Job Description



The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.


Responsibilities



  • Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees

  • Recruiting and interviewing potential applicants on experience, skills, and education.

  • Setting up of all HR policies and procedures

  • Setting up of all HR tools, standards and directives

  • Drawing up plans for future personnel hiring procedures and goals.

  • Performing administrative tasks.

  • Overseeing employee health and safety procedures.

  • Organizing and managing new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.

  • Updating job requirements when needed.

  • Contacting applicants' references.

  • Performing criminal background checks required by company

  • Explaining and providing information on employee benefits, programs, and education.

  • Advising on company benefit needs or evaluating benefit contract bids.

  • Covering all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements.

  • Maintaining employee records and paperwork.

  • Answering employee questions and addressing employee concerns with company.

  • Reviewing procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.

  • Representing employer in community and recruiting events.

  • Overseeing social events.

  • Update internal databases with new hire information.

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures.

  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.

  • Assist in performance management processes.

  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.

  • Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies.

  • Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days.

  • Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed.

  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics.

  • Respond to employees' questions about benefits.

  • Document, review, manage and maintain contracts, legal and compliance documents

  • Administration

  • And other administrative / operational support function


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources

  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies

  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills

  • Attention to detail and good judgement
