Description

• Nurse Educators and Midwife Educators are registered nurses (RN) with a minimum of a Degree in Nursing or Midwifery who serves as a teacher for other nurses.


• They are to serve as lecturers and instructors in the department of nursing science and midwifery respectively.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a minimum of a BNSc in Nursing


• Registered Nurse Educators Certificate


• Registered Midwife Educators Certificate


• NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate


• Higher Degree such as; MSc and PhD shall be added advantage

Other Requirements:

• Candidates must demonstrate evidence of strong academic and administrative leadership, good human relations and positive management attributes.


• They shall be of proven personality, integrity and transperancy in private and public life; should command respect as well as attract cooperation and loyalty of staff and students.

Terms of Appointment

• All appointment will be on full time and salary negotiable.
