Job Description



Admin and technical officer for a dialysis Centre, attending to the daily operation of the Centre including technical, administrative, maintenance, health and safety, record keeping and customer service activities. The admin/technical officer is the backbone of the administrative operations of the centre: they will manage the centre's equipment, consumables and general supplies. They will also handle essential administrative and reporting.


Key Responsibilities



  • The admin/technical officer will manage non-clinical operations to ensure that the centre operates efficiently, and support the clinical team.

  • Manage reception and registration of patients.

  • Manage patient invoicing, payment collection, and issuance of receipts.

  • Ensure full record keeping of patient information, invoicing and payments using the Company’s IT system.

  • Manage all documentation and record-keeping in relation to the Centre.

  • Manage the Centre’s inventory and procurement process.

  • Manage and coordinate the cleaning and laundry activities of the Centre.

  • Manage the Centre’s machines, including testing, operation, readiness, the safety of equipment, cleaning and coordination of maintenance.

  • Ensure regular preventive maintenance of all equipment and machines.

  • Coordinate with the Centre’s medical staff to ensure they receive the required support to serve the patients.

  • Work closely with the team to ensure patient satisfaction.

  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

  • Ensure adherence to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Provide timely, detailed, and frequent reporting to the Company’s accountant and head 


Key Skills and Competencies:



  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a dialysis technician

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in fulfilling administrative duties including reporting

  • Experience with IT systems

  • Experience managing healthcare equipment including dialysis machines

  • Strong worth ethic and capacity for meeting deadlines.
