Job Summary

• To facilitate smooth running of the workshop, coordinate a team of workshop personnel, establish procedures and standards of operations and ensuring that all equipment is in line with operational requirements.

Job Function

• Monitor and ensure the implementation of mechanical services in compliance with Company protocols.


• Organising servicing schedule for vehicles and equipment.


• Supervising any repair or maintenance work performed in the workshop and at project sites.


• Ensure appropriate standards, performing regular checks of mechanical tools and completing the corresponding record sheets.


• Establish productivity expectations and tracks the production and activity of the workshop workforce.


• Regularly reports progress on workshop activities and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the Management.


• Ensures that all materials used in the workshop meet defined standard.


• Ensure Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures and regulations are followed.

Requirements

• B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent


• Not less than 12 years experience in similar role


• Extensive Knowledge of mechanical issues and general repairs
