Key Purpose of the Job
- Leverage on cloud computing resources and develop managed/supporting services that are tailored to customer’s need.
- Provide the expertise needed to lead and make strategic product decision for competitive advantage.
Main Responsibilities
- Build upon the existing success of Cloud OEM portfolios and lead the continued strategic development of all Managed/Supporting services, their positioning and role in the marketplace.
- Responsible for the full life-cycle of Cloud products and related Managed/Supporting Services through close partnership with technical resources throughout all phases.
- Create a go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and lead successful execution of this plan across functional teams.
- Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with customers, relating product capabilities in terms that they understand, care about, and are willing to pay for.
- Gather data from customers through customer interviewing, customer success, design thinking etc. for the purpose of strategy creation and execution
- Responsible for internal training, sales, and development of the portfolio
- Assess our target market and identify opportunities using market research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interview.
- Perform competitive analysis, define and communicate key advantages.
- Communicating roadmap and technical capabilities to customers
- Assessing current and emerging technologies and market/industry trends in order to inform platform strategy
- Assisting in the development of business case justification and financials to support investments in platform.

Education
- A good First Degree in any discipline or a technology related field
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent industry certification is an added advantage
- An MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
Professional Membership:
- Relevant Professional Qualifications or membership in Business Development.
Knowledge:
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Industry product knowledge
- Must have clear understanding and knowledge of B2B Business environment
- Demonstrated experience and exceptional industry knowledge with Cloud OEM products
- Excellent understanding of products in the hosting and cloud computing industries.

- Ability to tell an inspirational and convincing story, while delivering simplicity to customers
- Think big, start small and move fast, and deliver with consistency
- Solid command of the fundamentals of marketing research, positioning and development
- Proven analytical, product marketing and communications skills
- Proactive, demonstrates initiative, strong at generating ideas
- Strong relationship-management skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Experience:
- Must have over 2 - 4 years’ experience in pitching and selling Cloud products or similar products
- Proven successful product market entry experience.
- Experience in product development life cycle.
