We are looking for a highly skilled database administrator with a minimum of 5 years experience in Database Administration for immediate employment. In this role, you will have the opportunity and freedom to innovate and play a major role in our customer-centric agenda.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Install and configure database software on Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems.


• Monitor and tune performance of databases.


• Perform backup and recovery in line with RTO and RPO.


• Implement and manage High Availability of databases.


• Plan and monitor capacity of databases.


• Perform troubleshooting of databases as needed.

Qualifications

• B Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or numerate sciences, or equivalent hands-on experience.


• Proficiency in Oracle, MSSQL databases. Knowledge of Mysql, PostgreSQL database a plus.


• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in database management.
