Job Description




  • Works with other departments and assets (JV, HSE, GSR, FOPS, Asset integrity, HQ, C&P, PAR, finance, logistics, tech log, etc).

  • Supports the manager and senior engineer in $100M annual spend on operations (Riserless and Rig based operations).

  • Is the initiator of well stimulation and intervention designs.

  • Prepares the Intervention and integrity related aspects of the DW DCD budget (100M USD per annum).

  • Manages multimillion dollar subsea related contracts ($80M contracts value).

  • Spearheads the preparation, planning, optimization and follow-up on offshore execution of Intervention aspects of well operations.

  • Provides oversight and technical support during operations and ensures procedures are followed by offshore supervisors. Where applicable ensures MOC are written, and risk assessments are carried out and communicated to the offshore team in a timely manner.

  • Ensures lessons learnt and best practices are communicated to service company and other stakeholders.

  • Follows well KPI and CPI database, and benchmarks operations against "best composite" performance

  • Actively Participates in monthly performance meetings.

  • Follows up and closes out any highlighted improvement actions.

  • Follows up financial and personnel utilization reporting by the offshore supervisors.

  • Manages the well cost follow up and contracts to ensure there is sufficient value in the contract for

    upcoming operations


ORGANIZATION  (In relationship with Technical Services, GSR, and Assets)



  • Liaises with GSR, ECP, FOPs and Contractors to ensure optimization of well operations program and Subsea well equipment preparation.

  • As part of the well delivery process coordinates with GSR, FOPs, HQ and other relevant entities to ensure well objectives are defined.

  • Prepares CFT documents for completion, workover and well test operations. Performs CFT technical assessment and makes recommendation to the C&P teams


ACCOUNTABILITIES.



  • Ensure operations programs are prepared.

  • Ensure follow-up of operations & cost.

  • Ensure that studies to improve performance are conducted.

  • Prepare and conduct invitations to tender and service and equipment contracts.

  • Optimize activities of service providers and assess their performance.

  • Ensure the respect of safety rules and frames of references


HSE OBJECTIVES



  • Ensure all personnel under his/her supervision are well trained and aware of their HSE responsibilities with continuous monitoring.


JOB REQUIREMENT



  • Bachelor of Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant technical experience with onshore and offshore Well engineering roles.

  • Good experience in contracts management and basic finance.

  • Knowledgeable in drilling engineering/ operations, Subsea engineering/ operations, well interventions engineering operations.
