To identify risks to revenue, design, implement and continuously monitor controls to mitigate revenue loss from the identified risks across Postpaid Voice, SMS & Subscriber services.
Description
Review postpaid credit documents, profiles and approvals vulnerabilities that could lead to revenue leakage.
Participate actively in cross-functional credit rating and profiling review sessions.
Actively monitor customer credit behavior post credit approval and implementation.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are designed to return value to both customers and shareholders.
Periodically review approved credits against credit limit on system for compliance.
Reconcile customer bills against payments.
Quantify, report and document root cause analysis for any inconsistencies identified and suggest fixes.
Evaluate revenue risk associated with any proposed changes to product and systems that will affect customer credit rating or limit.
Monitor and report compliance to credit policy for enterprise/postpaid customers.
Design, develop and implement adequate controls on Business Assurance system for automated risk monitoring and fault detection.
Review and evaluate debt collection, debt aging and bad debt processes and controls for postpaid customers.
Act as business advisor to management based on analysis of enterprise/postpaid credits and repayment data.
Perform any other revenue assurance related function as may be assigned by Manager Business Assurance Operations – Enterprise/Postpaid Services.
Develop and enhance analytics competence and use of analytic tools for efficiency.
Education:
First degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related numerate discipline
Certification in SQL, ORACLE, JAVA or Other Query Languages desirable
Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and/or Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) is added advantage.
Experience:
3 – 7 years’ experience which includes:
Business Assurance, Business Intelligence, IT, System Audit and/or Data Analysis
Proficiency in the use of big data analytics tools
Understanding of Business process modeling and re-engineering
Knowledge of financial and/or operational auditing methodologies and tools
Telecommunication industry or related industries is desirable.
