Carry out assigned drawings, Material Take Offs (MTOs), as well as check PEFS or P&IDs for pipeline material consistency
Participate in the preparation of Material Requisitions
Perform the technical bid analysis (as may be assigned) under the supervision of the Lead Pipeline Engineer
Review Client technical documentation and requirements and maintain project technical files
Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents
Determine Pipeline engineering requirements for Contracts, Subcontracts and Tenders under the supervision of the Lead Piping & Materials Engineer.
Set up and progress basic and detail engineering activities under the supervision of the Lead Pipeline Engineer
Prepare assigned detail engineering design documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (data sheets, Specifications, etc.)
Review Client project specifications and requirements as may be assigned by the Lead Pipeline Engineer or Engineering Manager
Provide technical assistance to the project team as may be required
Prepare the assigned technical documentation for the procurement of Pipeline materials
Participate in the technical evaluation of bids
Check the list of spares for pipeline materials
Participate in preparing/reviewing pipeline alignment sheets
Ensure Pipeline material suppliers follow-up
Provide field engineering support as may be required during pipeline construction, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning
Periodically embark on site visits to project and tendering sites as well as take measurements, pictures, e.t.c as may be required
Carry out or perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the Lead Pipeline Engineer or the Engineering Manager
Competencies
Decent knowledge of relevant engineering standards, codes and specifications such as such as API, ASME, DNV, etc. and
Client Standards such as Shell DEP, Total GS, etc.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools, AutoCAD, Google Earth.
COREN Registered Engineer or in Process to get COREN Registered is a plus.
