  • We are currently seeking a full-time Relationship Manager for a Finance Company located in Abuja. This position reports directly to the Team Lead, Business Development and will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and growing current business relationships and developing new customers.

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to large sized businesses.


Responsibilities

Will include but not be limited to:



  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles of marketing – advertising, brand management, market/sector targeting, product development etc

  • Deep knowledge of the marketing terrain in assigned area

  • Possession of in-depth knowledge of customer acquisition/retention strategies

  • Good knowledge of the Nigerian Financial Services Industry

  • Create a target market amongst the high-net worth customers and establish good relationships with heads of governmental, parastatal, agency organisations and blue-chip corporations to increase the deposit generating portfolio of the organisation

  • Mobilise investments, create loans, actively participate in other income generating activities as advised, build the client portfolio of the company and establish good relationships with customers so as to increase the profitability of the organisation

  • Mobilising and managing of loan/revenue collection accounts

  • Management of the organisation’s term loans/co-investment portfolio

  • Rendering weekly reports of financial position and overseeing the observance of ethics, corporate policies and statutory regulations

  • Rendering daily/weekly call plan activities

  • Preparing of credit appraisal and loan portfolio management letters

  • Perform any other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills

Required:



  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles of marketing – advertising, brand management, market/sector targeting, product development etc.

  • Deep knowledge of the marketing terrain in assigned area and Nigerian Financial Services Industry

  • Possession of in-depth knowledge of customer acquisition/retention strategies

  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills

  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail that matches the organisation’s culture and working environment • High level negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with people of various cultures and disciplines.
