Leads the growth and business development strategy for Arco Worldwide Services Limited, from opportunity identification to opportunity definition and business case development.
Partners with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of growth initiatives.
Prioritization of resource allocation and ownership of key actions and deliverables.
Drives the execution of key growth initiatives delivering business outcomes and impact measured through orders growth, market penetration, margin expansion, improvement in local ability and market position.
Leads Voice of the Customer studies, industry/vertical analyses
Develops the Statistical Analysis System and market size information; and all the strategic action coming out from continuous data analysis and feeding the business for the right investment and moves.
Own the strategic planning growth playbook process, including key themes, market size and growth rates, and key planning assumptions
Liaises with the Managing Director to develop sales and Business Development strategies.
Leads the development of the overall business annual strategic plan, coordinating with key executives across the business.
Develops, updates and implements business development policies, procedures and strategies AWS.
Prepares and presents departmental annual plans and budgets in line with corporate goals and objectives.
Provides thought leadership on the continuous evolving and improvement of the strategic planning function.
Manages the quarterly development and review/measurement of key business priorities.
Leads the mid-quarter and end-of-quarter business review, highlighting areas of opportunity and development for the business.
Ensures compliance with Business Development strategy keeping a wide range of clients satisfied with the service provided.
Identifies opportunities for new business and develops appropriate strategies for delivering these.
Promotes Client relationships to understand their business and contracting needs.
Collaborates with clients in initiatives for enhancing our performance and improving our margins.
Acts as a source of accurate and up-to-date intelligence for clients and their contracting strategies.
Establishes regular liaison with clients and core business operations teams in driving improvements and opportunities for increasing revenue.
Assists in the preparation of tenders and their associated commercial evaluations and business cases.
Assists in the collection of outstanding invoices.

Qualification:
Minimum of first degree in a Social Science related discipline
M.Sc./MBA Degree in a related discipline
Professional membership in the industry is required
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years experience in a similar role with at least 4 years in a senior management role
Experience in managing the strategic planning cycle for a large organization with strong cross-functional engagement and prioritization
Experience in a credible organisation, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Experience in the Aviation Industry is an added advantage.
